Metis HyperHack Ideathon Update: Over 250 Applications Received
The Metis HyperHack Ideathon has now attracted 250+ project submissions, with more than 50 proposals approved by the Metis Developer Relations team for the next phase. The Applications & Ideation stage kicked off on May 15, 2025 and will remain open through June 15, 2025. We thank the community for this strong early participation and encourage any builders still planning to apply to submit ideas before the deadline.
Participants in the HyperHack Ideathon will gain substantial advantages while developing their AI-driven Web3 projects. Key incentives include:
- Generous Prize Pool: A total of $200,000 USD in rewards is available.
- Mentorship & Incubation: Winners and leading teams will receive guidance and support from Metis experts and partner programs.
- Cutting-Edge Testnet Access: Early use of the new Hyperion testnet – Metis’s AI-optimized blockchain – giving participants access to high-throughput, on-chain AI capabilities.

As one press release notes, HyperHack is structured so that “participants will collaborate with the Metis community, access cutting-edge resources, and push Hyperion’s infrastructure to its limits”.
